Established in 1994, Texas Alcohol and Drug Testing Service (TADTS),
has provided drug and breath alcohol testing services to the Federal
mandated industries which are required to establish and maintain
an ongoing drug and breath alcohol testing program.
Some of these industries include the Aviation industry, Intra/Interstate
Highway Transportation, Texas Independent School Districts Transportation
Programs, the Maritime Industry, the Oil and Gas Industry and
those other entities, which are covered by the various parts of
U. S. C. Part 49 CFR.
To provide compliance with the "Non DOT" Drug Free
Workplace Program, TADTS began to provide services to its clients
to assist them in developing, maintaining and continuing a drug
and alcohol awareness program for their employees.
TADTS has created various "Consortiums" to accommodate
similar/same types of businesses with a Drug and Alcohol Program.
This Consortium is designed to work with those small businesses
that are required to comply with Federal Drug Program and/or Drug
Free Workplace requirements but who have limited resources and
do not have a large pool of employees.
